Hello Readers! My name is Skylar, Sir Smarty Pants – Baron of the Bluebook. It’s a long name for a small dog, but everyday I get bigger fueled by my love of legal writing and novel citation and grammar rules. I live on a diet of Law Reviews, edited manuscripts and red pens.
My owner is the Editor in chief of a Law Review, I lovingly refer to her as a “Bluebook nerd.” Who knew there were so many rules surrounding the use of hyphens, comas, colons and these weird dot thingies called ellipses.
I know I’m no Bryan Garner, but hopefully I can answer questions of those students called 1L’s and all the new writers for law review’s across the country. Perhaps I can even share some general information on legal writing.
